The district is seeking primary teachers who are interested in piloting the Scholastic Language

Foundations program based on Wiley Blevins’ Phonics approach.

Scholastic Language Foundations is a new K–3 research-based phonics program

that sequentially and systematically helps children acquire and practise the essential

foundational reading skills they need to learn to read and to become successful

spellers and writers.
