The Peace River North New Teachers’ Academy is intended to help provide information, ideas, teaching strategies, assessment strategies and networking opportunities for early career teachers, teachers new to School District 60 or teachers in a new teaching assignment.

Session #1
● Long-range Planning: Please join Crystal Dutchak & Angela Gatt for a session to help you plan & write your teaching previews! This will be a hands-on session so bring your preferred device and have access to, or paper copies of, curriculum and/or teacher guides, school calendars and any other resources you may need.

When: Wednesday, September 26th, 4:00 – 6:00

Where: PRNTA Office (9912 101 Avenue)

To register please contact Mary Tremain at mtremain@prn.bc.ca no later than Monday, September 24th.

Supper will be served; please include any dietary requirements/restrictions when you register.

]]> A voluntary support session is available for help with report cards in MyEdBC for New and Veteran Teachers, November 8, 2018 from 4-6pm at the Board Room in the School Board Office. If you are a new teacher/less experienced teacher who is in need to support with the report card process, then please feel free to join us. A few devices will be available for use. Pizza will be provided. RSVP is a must. The session will offer support of:
-Using My Ed BC
-Writing report cards
-Comment construction
-Using Assessment Information
-Report card expectations

Target Audience : Teachers

Time: 4-6pm

Location: School Board Office – Board Room
