TRIBES LEARNING COMMUNITY TRAINING 101 Introduction – Oct 20, 2017

“Every school should be a model home, a complete community actively developing future compassionate citizens capable of creating, leading and contributing to the kind of democratic communities – in which we all long to live.”

This session will provide participants with a basic background in the Tribes program.  The philosophy and strategies of Tribes can be implemented in a variety of ways at all levels – elementary, middle and high school.

We are hoping this introductory session will excite and encourage participants to enrol in the in-depth basic training course.

Teachers using this approach in their classrooms spend far less time managing inappropriate behaviour and more time facilitating learning.

Date: Oct 20th

Target Audience: classroom teachers, administrators, LATs, school teams, district staff, educational assistants, all are welcome

Time: 9:00-3:00

Location: Bert Bowes Lounge Area

Facilitators:  Dale Boissonneault

Registration Deadline: October 10

Registration Contact:  Marie Westergaard at mwestergaard@prn.bc.ca
