FRIENDS – Anxiety Prevention & Resiliency Building – Oct 20, 2017

FRIENDS is a school based, anxiety prevention and resiliency building program sponsored by the Ministry of Children & Family Development.  Students learn to identify their feelings, explore ways to relax, build strategies to break down challenges/goals into manageable steps, build positive support structures and more.

The FRIENDS program is taught in the classroom over 10 or more weeks, and is easily  integrated into various parts of the curricula year round.

While the one day FRIENDS training is required prior to program delivery, classroom materials (FRIENDS student workbooks) are provided by MCFD at no cost.
