Circle of Courage – October 25, 2024

We are excited to invite you to join us next month for Circle of Courage, a skill-building workshop to build tools for supporting positive youth development.

This workshop will be led by Mark Freado, an internationally recognized trainer in youth mental health, trauma, and resilience. With over 20 years of experience, Mark has been a key figure in the Reclaiming Youth Movement and has worked with communities around the world to develop meaningful interventions and programming for children and youth.

Information about Mark, and about the organization he works with can be found at Reclaiming Youth at Risk.

This workshop will introduce you to the Circle of Courage and Six Keys to Thriving models for youth development. These are powerful frameworks rooted in Indigenous values that support positive youth development. You will learn practical strategies to build strong, respectful relationships between adults and youth, and discover ways to plan community responses that address the needs of young people.
