Math Fact Fluency: Additive and Multiplicative Thinking Workshop

Workshop Description:  Mastering basic facts is closely linked to developing confidence in math.  A student who has a range of strategies and who demonstrates adaptive reasoning about their use is a student who demonstrates fluency with numbers.  This workshop will explore the components which, combined, can counter potential negative dispositions about math.  Participants will also explore the natural progression for teaching and learning basic facts as well as try a few games that will help all learners enjoy math while developing basic fact fluency.
